Learn How Easy it is to Add HTML Code to Your Website or Blog

If you're reading this, the thought of using html code probably overwhelms you.

Don't worry.  It's easy.

What Skills Do I Need?

All you really need to learn is how to copy code and then how to paste it.  That's it.

Highlight the entire code and copy it.  In the case of a blog, paste your code anywhere on your blog post.  Just be sure your writing is switched to html mode.

If you're using a website making application, open up (or create) an html box.  Then paste your code in that box.

How Do I Get an HTML Code?

There are many ways to generate html codes.

If you've signed up for Google's free Adsense Program, then you would produce a "New Ad Unit" and choose "Save and Get Code."  Then your html code will pop up.

If you're wanting to make any type of advertisement using Amazon's services through their Amazon Associates Program, you will choose to get the html code as well towards the end.  Amazon's product code generator is typically at the right-hand side of every product you've chosen.  They make it really easy to find the create code button.

Google Ads are Not a Scam and are a Legitimate Way to Earn a Little Money Online

Are a Google Ads a scam?  No.

Adding Google Ads to your blogs or websites is a legitimate way to make a little money online.

 When you use Google to search for things online, do you notice those advertisements that are dispersed across the page?  How about ads on information and community websites online?

Owners of those websites use Google Adsense to make a little from you every time you click on a Google Ad even if they're providing free information.

What's the Catch?

There isn't one.  Businesses operate to make a profit.  They can't sell their products or services if people don't know that they exist.

How Does it Work?

Many people use the internet to look for local or online shops and retailers.  Millions of people go online to find useful information and can land on numerous websites.  Every website and blog competes to be found in the top searches on search engines such as Google, Yahoo, or Bing to name a few.

Google dominates the web as a search engine.  Over the years that we've tracked visitors for our various web visitors consistently shows us that well over 90% use Google as their primary search engine.

Who Pays for These Ads?

The advertisers that realize that they can get a lot of targeted traffic through Google will sign up for their Adwords program.  By using Adwords, businesses can write advertisements and pay (bid) a certain amount of money to Google for every time someone clicks on their ads.

Advertisers pay Google for these advertising services and essentially Google's massive audience exposure.  Google splits these advertising dollars with owners of websites (or blogs) who feature Google Ads on their websites.  It's as simple as that.

How Do You Find Out How Much You've Earned?

Signing up for Google Adsense is free.

After you've signed up with a free account, you can make your first new ad (to display and not write one) and paste that html code to your website.  For more information on how this works, read this post.

Log into your account and view your Performance Reports and view your earnings there.  It is broken up according to website, day, type of ad, etc.
